I am an occasional writer, editor, artist, photographer. And a knitter, gardener, and casual cook.

I’ll be jotting notes about our travels during July and August 2025. We are the husband, the dog, the cat, and me, driving across the country until we get to the Pacific Ocean. Then we’ll pause for awhile to enjoy ourselves and rest up before the return journey sometime in the next couple or three years.

I’ll be adding occasional comments, descriptions, and anecdotes, in a fairly regular blog, as we cross the country and settle into a new community. Follow along with me and the motley crew.
